We managed to fit in a lot to the two weeks John had in the UK. A visit to Southwold reminded us of the English sea side, and we loved the quaint Surf rescue hut, which matched the other colourful beach huts along the sea front.
It was great to spend time to see Barbara, John had not been back to England for six years Barabara didn't recognise him at first. It must be becasue of the smooth baby face!
We managed to have a day trip to Lavenham and Lunch in the Swan Hotel, there is a story to tell about that! Of course you can't visit Winn & Roger without a trip to Bawdsey and Woodbridge.
We also managed to catch up with the new additions to the family, and spent a evening and morning with Mark, Debbie and the children, with a visit to Kenilworth Castle thrown in.
Then we drove down to see Andy for a very brief visit, but it was great to catch up and see how much Kayla had grown since we last saw her.
We then travelled back up North and fitted in a visit to our good friends Jane & Peter and had a Pommie BBQ! along with a dinner with jane's brother Stephen and his family.
Our last stop before flying home was a quick drop in to see our 'bestie' Jules for a wonderful Indian feast.
A busy trip, but well worth it. We will have to make sure that we don't leave it so long before we have our next trip back.
